Appliance cords are the cords used from appliance to the mains supply socket or interface cords between a gadget & the ancillary gadget.
The power supply cords are manufactured by using ISI marked cables & integrally moulding these with 3 pin plug. 3 pin plug has three basis components & moulded in 2 stages. Brass pairs as per IS:1293 are soldered or along with cables, moulded with polypropylene, which provides greater di-electric strength, thereafter on first mould a final layer of coloured PVC matching to the wire is provided.
The cables used in these products can be suitable to various temprature
a) -15°C to +70°C
b) -40°C to +85°C
c) -20°C to +105°C
